Private Hibachi Chef in Panama City Beach

Twenty-seven miles of condo towers and beach houses — the venue question matters more here than anywhere.

Hibachi catering in Panama City Beach

Panama City Beach is the largest and most condo-dominated market we serve, and it is the one where the venue question decides everything. The beach runs roughly twenty-seven miles and the great majority of rentals are units in towers, which means the honest answer for many PCB enquiries is that we cannot cook where you are staying — but we very often can cook somewhere in the same complex. Most of the larger PCB resorts have a poolside grilling area, a pavilion, or a reservable outdoor space, and those work well. Detached houses and townhomes, mostly at the west end and inland, are simple. Because PCB is a longer drive for us than 30A, a travel fee may apply depending on the address, and it is quoted on the form before you commit rather than added later.

Where we set up in Panama City Beach

Six by four feet of level surface with open sky and three feet of chef clearance. In PCB that is a poolside pavilion, a resort grilling area, a ground-floor patio, or — for detached houses — the driveway or rear deck. Condo balconies do not work: too narrow, roofed by the balcony above, and prohibited by most PCB buildings. Where a complex has a designated grilling zone, that is nearly always the best option, and it usually needs reserving a few days out. Send us the space name and we will confirm we can work in it.

Getting to you

We come in from the west on US-98 or Front Beach Road, and PCB is our longest routine drive, so we arrive 60 minutes before the seating rather than 45. For tower complexes we need the service entrance or loading zone, elevator access, and a parking arrangement — sending those with your booking is the difference between a 7pm and a 7:40pm start. Front Beach Road in summer is slow all afternoon; we plan around it so your seating time does not move.

Bachelorette and birthday parties in Panama City Beach

PCB bachelorette groups are typically staying in a condo and eating before going out, so the booking we do most here is an early poolside seating with the full show and a hard finish time. It works well — a resort pavilion at seven with twelve women, the knife work, the volcano, and everyone out the door by half eight. The other regular PCB booking is the big family group in a west-end beach house, where we run two seatings so the kids get their turn at the rail first. Because PCB has more restaurant capacity than 30A, the reason people book us here is less about availability and more about wanting the night to happen at the pool rather than in a car.

Asked about this town specifically

Panama City Beach questions

Can you cook on a Panama City Beach condo balcony?

No. PCB balconies are too narrow, roofed by the unit above, and open-flame cooking is prohibited in most buildings. Ask your resort about a poolside grilling area or reservable pavilion — most of the larger complexes have one.

Is there a travel fee to Panama City Beach?

There may be, depending on the exact address and party size. It is calculated and shown on the booking form before you commit — we do not add travel charges after the fact.

How early do you arrive in PCB?

An hour before the seating rather than our usual 45 minutes. Front Beach Road in season is slow, and tower loading takes longer than a driveway.
